Hi. I’m Mandy.

And for bio purposes, forgive that I like to talk about myself in the third person, so I can brag. Otherwise, I’ll say something like I’m a mom, and I like potato chips (which I am and do).

Mandy (there it is) grew up in a tiny no-stoplight town in Texas, and at the age of 16 moved to Austin and became the youngest member of a professional sketch comedy troupe, before attending Vassar College to major in film. (What? I know. Her parents thought that too.)

Since then, Mandy has co-created and directed The Young Hillary Diaries, Lifetime's first digital series, and the Amazon Emmy-winning digital series Dropping the Soap, starring Jane Lynch. She was selected as a Sony Pictures Television Directing Fellow, named “Best New Filmmaker” by NewFilmmakers LA, and her debut feature “Jess Plus None” won a finishing fund grant from Warner Bros 150 and was hailed as a laugh-out-loud LGBTQ+ “Big Chill meets Bridesmaids”, premiering at the BFI Flare Festival in London in 2023. It still plays in various art house cinemas around the US and UK and is currently available to stream on Amazon, Apple, Hoopla & Tubi.

Currently, Mandy lives in London with her husband, actor Patrick Fabian, her two daughters, and an intimidating collection of reusable water bottles.  She was recently commissioned by Objective Fiction to develop a comedy series for the UK, and is in pre-production to direct her next feature, “WHITE”, a modern day adaptation of the Snow White fairytale.

She hopes you enjoy pictures of her wearing makeup for maybe the only time ever.
